The first meeting for the planning of International Women's Day, which will be held on 8th March, has already been undertaken. The MPI Kenya and their partner ,Chemichemi Ya Ukweli, have started coming up with the activities that will take place on that day .Keeping in mind this year's theme of #inspireInclusion, the team seeks to come up with activities that empower women and raise awareness on issues that affect them in the community. Some of the proposed activities are football tournament for inclusion from all the age groups and dialogue among them.
The meetings are scheduled for Tuesdays and Fridays at The Green Innovation Hub located inside Mathare Vocational Training Centre.
